Come take the El Dorado County Adventure Loop in North El Dorado County. Stop along the way to your hearts content. Visit the towns dating back to the Gold Rush era. Check out Georgetown with its extra wide Main Street, built this way so that a fire would not destroy the stores supplying miners. See some of the buildings still in active use from the time and place where California really got started back in the 1800’s. Walk through the mining towns, still in active use today. Visit the Marshall Gold Discovery Park where gold was discovered and see buildings dating way back in time.

Then if you want some great outdoor recreation, you can hike or bike or ride your horse in one of the many scenic and beautiful areas. See nature at its best. Or, just drive around our beautiful scenic country roads and enjoy the day.
